Well Ha! Backatcha! I lived that upon which those American high school dramas are based. And I haven't had a TV in my home since the mid '90s. I did attend a "reunion." And lo! High school was the high point of many of Their lives. And a surprising number are already dead...

You know, I was just reading that the Populars in high school don't do so well out in the real world... hence the state of the West, I suppose!

You're missing nothing without a TV. Neil Postman was right. We are amusing ourselves to death...

Great satire. And very much needed. Such comeuppances are certainly needed and quite possibly help a majority to realize that going along with what authorities tells us is very often a ill-advised and sometimes even tragic. Those pissing contests we call wars comes to mind.

Indeed. A once-a-generation political shift is looming. I suspect those who so often incant 'The Right Side of History' will find themselves planted firmly on its wrong side.

And yes, though there's something strangely comforting in the predictability of human folly!
